Excellent location. Right on the beach but not too much traffic. Very clean. Handicap accessible. There is a restaurant and coffee shop on the property. The property has both an indoor and outdoor pool. The indoor pool is heated. Free parking and wifi for guests. The staff is friendly and professional!
Lumina is a classy estabuted resort. The restaurant (Soltice) offers good selections of entrees, beverages and desserts. I dined two consecutive nightls and was very pleased with the servers Meagen and Delaney.
I recently stayed at the lumina and it was the greatest stay in any hotel I have ever experienced. I came with a group of 40 or so and stayed for Christmas Eve through day. Even though it was Christmas, the staff seemed attentive to all the guests needs not just from our group, but from the whole hotel.
This is Momma's favorite getaway beach weekend! I've been twice and the location, the interior design, the friendly staff - just can't be beat! The food at the Solstice restaurant is also great. Had the Mahi and it was perfectly seasoned. Beachfront access and the oceanfront rooms are beautiful and spacious.

Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
