Dream Wedding Weekend at a Beautiful Hotel We had the absolute best wedding weekend at Hotel Canandaigua! From the rehearsal dinner to the wedding day to enjoying the pool with our wedding party the next day, everything was seamless.
I absolutely love this hotel! When it first opened, I planned a corporate company Christmas party (we also booked 30+ rooms for our staff to stay). The party was a hit, excellent food, exceptional bar tenders, and great service. Most of the party enjoyed the hotel's bar after the event late into the night.
The staff at this hotel is what makes it great. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated, with all the amenities close by. The outdoor restaurant and bar seating offers beautiful views of the lake. The one missing item I keep asking Hilton to provide at all their hotels is a real glass in the bathroom.

Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
