My daughter just recently got married at Icona Diamond Beach. I don't even know where to begin. I can't even find the words to say how amazing EVERYTHING was from the first tour to the morning after. Phil and Bree and their staff did everything and so much more to make sure it was the perfect day.
I attended a wedding at Icona in Wildwood, NJ, and everything was absolutely beautiful. The beach ceremony was breathtaking, the cocktail hour space was elegant, and the enclosed rooftop reception venue was stunning. The staff provided outstanding service, and the food was excellent.
We didn't stay at the hotel. My family had a late lunch/early dinner. We loved the idea of being near the beach. Grandkids LOVED it! 🤩 All our food served with "to-go"boxes. I ordered a Margherita Pizza and it was DELICIOUS! Well cooked, charred not burnt. Sauce was flavorful and seasoned. We all loved our meals.
Our first ever visit here (visited at the end of April/first of May). The resort was still in new season start up mode so hard to rate this hotel resort in full. Rooms were spacious and very clean. And most rooms had a 'sliver' of a ocean view.
Getting married at ICONA Diamond Beach
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
