This is now a privately owned gentleman's club - however, it is really something to see. The grounds are beautifully preserved. If you walk along the side of the home where the beach is, you can see that some lovely souls have put up their own little pieces of artwork on the pillars that surround the home.
During my visit, this stunning mansion was booked for a wedding, so I wasn't able to see the inside. But the outside is wonderful enough to stare at and get some amazing photos. Sister house is the Pink Lady, she is across the street from Carson mansion and just as stunning as her brother😜.
If you're in Eureka, it's definitely worth a stop to check it out. I got to see it with all the flags out because of America's 250 celebration. Pretty cool to see everybody celebrating all over the nation. 🇺🇸
Getting married at Ingomar Club
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
