Our girls trip was absolutely unforgettable thanks to an incredible team of people who went above and beyond to make everything perfect. Jessica Moore and Jonathan Rudolph worked their magic to secure an amazing room location and even surprised us with champagne, making us feel welcomed from the moment we arrived.
The resort was fantastic, but what really made the experience was the beach servic, especially Benji. He helped us pick the perfect chairs, set up our umbrella with impressive precision, and was genuinely great to talk to. The umbrella went in so smoothly and perfectly that it looked like it belonged there all along.
The resort has a great concept. There is plenty to do. Our first day we did the paddle boats and relaxed under an umbrella at the beach. Stella was fantastic she helped us get set up and organized food delivery to our chairs for lunch. Make sure you book activities that require an extra fee ahead, they do fill up.
No need to leave the resort. Everything was here for our carefree weekend girls trip! Great food at Playa! Our server, Trent, was friendly and efficient. Full of great information about the area. All beach supplies are included - chairs towels and umbrellas.
Getting married at Island Grand at TradeWinds
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
