My family has spent many weeks of vacation at The Jenne Farm. It feels like home. It is well worth your time to slow down and enjoy life on the porch, walking the property, visiting the animals, enjoying the beach!
We stayed there several years ago and really enjoyed the old farmhouse feel of the place. It was a wonderful experience. The house was built by my great grandfather Jenne.
I’m not going to tell you how great this place is because 1) I want to keep it all to myself and 2) You just need to go! The owners are awesome. The farmhouse is like stepping back in time. The property is amazing. I’ve stayed 3 times and never want to leave. A true Whidbey gem.
Getting married at Jenne Farm
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
