We stayed in the Milky Way Room and loved it. It has a huge deck, easily 300 square feet of terrace space, an enormous bathroom with soaking tub, and unobstructed views. Maria at reception was a wonderful hostess. We had a relaxing time with our two doggies. The view of the river is absolutely absorbing.
What a special place! If you’re looking for a nice, relaxing spot that’s the perfect launching point for exploring the coast, this is it. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and well-appointed.
The Jenner Inn is as comfortable as it gets. The staff is extremely kind and warm. In addition, it's like staying in your own little luxury cottage. My family and I traveled there for vacation in February and were astounded not only by the breathtaking views, but also by the remoteness.
Beautiful home, could have gotten a place closer to ocean but this was a great place, friendly people.
Getting married at Jenner Inn
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
