From the reviews
My daughter's wedding was at Kalmar Village. Beautiful property, well maintained and the views of the ocean are spectacular. The wedding was perfect, people traveled from around the US and the accommodations worked out very well for everyone. Commercial Street in Ptown was a 10 min ride if that.
My family loved the beach and having such close access to it! The manager is super friendly and gave us a dried out horseshoe crab after hearing about us catching one and knowing my kids loved it and it means soooo much to us especially being our first time at Cape Cod!!
Ok this is all about location and how much you can customize this place to make your dream Cape Cod wedding happen. I photographed a wedding her with a fantastic Sperry Tent, clambake, incredible views and so much.
We love this place and have been coming for 35 years and would never stay anywhere else on the Cape. It has an enormous sandy yard and beach with beautiful views of P'town. It is quiet and set back from the road. There is a wide variety of types of rooms, some are classic cottages.
Getting married at Kalmar Village
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
