From the reviews
My husband and I had a wonderful stay at Keweenaw Castle Resort and can’t recommend it enough. The lake views were absolutely beautiful and made the entire experience feel peaceful and special.
This place is a hidden gem. This is the only place I will go back to explore the Keweenaw Peninsula. Located on Lake Superior with a gorgeous beach, prime for rock hunting and some of the most beautiful sunsets I’ve seen. Nancy and Keith are amazing hosts and made sure our stay exceeded expectations.
I traveled to the Keweenaw Castle last week for a wedding, and it felt like stepping into a storybook the moment the road curved and the treetops gave way to that vast sweep of Lake Superior.
We had an amazing stay down at The Cove. It was packed with amenities above and beyond. You can tell everything is well thought out and taken care of. The owners were incredibly friendly and quick to help out with anything. This is the most beautiful camp site I’ve ever been to.
Getting married at Keweenaw Castle Resort
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
