A truly luxurious hotel on the Big Island that is only 15 minutes from the airport. You get your own Hale that is modern but has Hawaiian touches through out. The grounds are beautiful along with the sunset views.
I did not stay here but stopped by for some afternoon grinds, drinks at the Shipwreck Bar and to wander a bit Super nice staff on the property, super helpful and friendly bar staff and super quiet resort. Really beautiful adult pool, spa and lap pool.
The location is great. Staff here are amazing. The road is dusty. Windy days are going to be tough. The shop is very expansive though, so remember to bring swim suits. Great hospitality overall, there are two restaurants, Moana ( if I remember correctly) is better than the other. View is great.
A true 5 start deluxe resort, amazing heles, beautiful beach, nice staff. I love their on-screen spirit - not in the rooms, not in the (great, outdoor) kids club and not anywhere else. You can take a bike free of charge and ride anywhere in the resort.
Getting married at Kona Village, A Rosewood Resort
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
