Ok, so hear me out. In the area of Waikoloa, this is *hands down* the best place to go. It gives the quintessential island vacations vibe. We went once, and from then on, we didnt even want to have dinner anywhere else. May I recommend the edamame beans as an appetizer and the teriyaki steak?!
Went here for a lunch with my husband on 2/14/2025 for our anniversary. We were in Hawaii for the first time with my in-laws, making great memories with our kiddos. We got a little time to enjoy a nice meal to ourselves and my mother-in-law, who has been to Hawaii many times, recommended Lava Lava Beach Club.
After reading reviews I decided to check this place out. This place is now one of my favorite restaurants! The way was not only outstanding and beautifully plated, but our server, Justin, was even more outstanding. This place is family friendly while also at the same time would be great for a special occasion.
Getting married at Lava Lava Beach Club
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
