I had the great pleasure of shooting twice at Lairmont Manor, one for an editorial and one wedding, and each time was a complete dream. Not only are the staff kind, but they are also incredibly helpful in making sure that each event flows smoothly and stress-free. The grounds are kept immaculate and fragrant.
We had our wedding at the Lairmont this past Friday and everything was wonderful. Hope, Anna Beth, and DJ were all so very helpful with any questions I had leading up to the day. The onsite supervisor, Serene, and house manager, Simon, were also very helpful day of as well.
We got married at Lairmont in July of 2024, and it was the perfect venue for us. The gardens were lush and beautiful, the manor was stately and stunning. The staff were informative and helpful at every step of the planning process.
We had our wedding at Lairmont this past June and we couldn't have found a better venue! Hope, Anna Beth, and the whole staff day-of were a dream to work with. This history behind the venue, along with the well kept garden and little peeps of the bay throughout the venue made this such a perfect venue for us.
Getting married at Lairmont Manor
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
