From the reviews
Ive stayed here numerous times and always have the best time. Sometimes I'm the only guest, other times there are parties of people staying. But no matter what, it's always a relaxing getaway. My pictures are of the backyard. Absolutely stunning views, and all accessible to guests.
Awesome place! We booked this through AirBnB. It was a beautiful retreat with alot of great small touches. Beautiful views. Enjoy coffee on the patio looking over lake superior or a glass of wine in the hot tub after a long day of exploring. Three beef was really comfy!
A great secluded retreat close to both the towns of Baraga and L’Anse as well as a short drive away from everything the Keweenaw has to offer. Great rooms, great views of nature of the Pool, hot tub, or sauna. Full kitchen, great communal areas and activities all around
Great view of lake great atmosphere for luxury cabin life in woods. Trails everywhere and wood heat to keep ya warm. Cheryl is great person and has a warm retreat that people can come back to year after year...
Getting married at LaRose Wellness Retreat
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
