We had an elegant dinner recently outside in a private Cabana. The setting was amazing! We were overlooking the river watching the boats going to & from the ocean. It was a beautiful night, perfect in every way. The food that was served so graciously was delicious! Thank you for a truly memorable evening!
Loved the individual cabanas. Food was good. It was odd how to get out to our table, through the pool area or around the lawn, but that was fine. It is definitely a resort restaurant with another activity close by, microphone included and live music..which was very cruise ship sounding.
Consistent, five-star service from a team of people who have mastered the art of hospitality. Been returning with family for several years now, and we are always treated so incredibly well. Property is great, well kept and clean. Very family friendly. Food and drink very good as well.
I love this place- it’s kinda of a hidden gem because you wouldn’t usually think an old time family resort would have such great food! There’s a nice view, the evening hostess, Emily, is an absolute delight! Eating at the Heckman’s pub is cute. It doesn’t have the same view as the restaurant though.

First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
