This is a lovely park it can't get busy on the weekends. We sell lots of people camping when we were there. It has bathroom facilities if you need them and a lovely view of the ocean that when the surf gets rough can show some impressive waves shooting up from the rocks.
We visited this mystic Hawai'ian Beach Park during our stay on Hawai'i (aka Big Island). The sea is rough, hence, going for a swim would be very bad advice. The black lava rocks are fascinating. The park is very clean and certainly worth a visit.
Absolutely gorgeous views. Jagged cliffs, black rock shore. We went early and there was not a crowd. Picnic tables available and lots of places to view nature at its finest. Bathrooms need a tidy up.
Hidden gem, a must visit. It was very scenic just getting to the park. Loved the winding hill and scenery at the park was fantastic.
