Staff are very helpful, friendly and professional. Great place to stay on beach. Rooms are clean and comfortable. Kitchenette was good and enough cooking supplies, plates and coffee maker available.
Lighthouse View Oceanfront is a special place. We went before the beach nourishment in 2026, and we had a lovely time despite not being able to swim in the ocean in front of our cottage. The pool and spa were a great addition to the clean, well-stocked, modern oceanfront cottage.
The view from our cottage was beautiful, we had nice easy access to the beach we were in a great location. It would be nicer if they could invest a little bit more into the rooms, our fridge made a lot of cracking sounds for some reason, there’s occasionally a lone cockroach OUTSIDE on the deck.
My husband and I stayed here a few months ago and we loved it so much we decided to come back again. We called to make sure everything was ok due to the storm surge and the loss of several homes nearby but the staff assured us they were OK and the grounds were fine.
Getting married at Lighthouse View Oceanfront Lodging
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
