From the reviews
I cannot express enough gratitude to Little Drum Landing for saving my wedding. After planning for two years, I was devastated when our original venue in Asheville fell through due to Hurricane Helene. Little Drum Landing stepped in and made our special day even more magical than we could have imagined.
I recently had my wedding at Riverwalk Landing and it could not of been more perfect! The staff was amazing in every way. I mostly spoke with Lindsey, who helped me with any need I had! The food was fabulous, the scenery was beautiful and the evening was magically.
Great wedding venue for a small wedding! We photographed Jay & Katrina's wedding here and it was awesome. You are right on the water in the heart of downtown Wilmington. The sunset is beautiful!
Great views and especially at sunset! Lots of local small business and some very good restaurants that are right on the riverwalk. Perfect for a couple or someone interested in photography.
Getting married at Little Drum Landing
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
