Absolutely delicious- the best meal we’ve had all year! Bella our server was amazing, checked on us often, and gave great recommendations for dinner and drinks. Shrimp and grits are to die for and the Calabash platter was 10/10! Gorgeous views, amazing food- We will absolutely be back!
Years ago, this used to be “pier food” at restaurant prices. Now, it’s honestly really fantastic seafood that happens to be attached to a pier. It’s excellent by so many measures. The balance of the “bang bang” shrimp with spices on a bed of cabbage is absolutely perfect.
My wife and I went to Oceanic At The Crystal Pier for dinner. We had appatizers of Parmesan Crispy Oysters, and Carolina Crab Dip. For her main course, my wife had Carolina Crab Cakes. There were two of them, and they came with rice and asparagus spears. I had Crab Stuffed Salmon.
Absolutely stunning experience dining on the deck overlooking the ocean. Alyssa was an incredible server; competent, easygoing, so friendly. Incredible food: best hush puppies we’ve ever had. A perfect meal across the board 10/10 recommend. Thank you!
Getting married at Oceanic at the Crystal Pier - NC
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
