From the reviews
My daughter had her wedding here a few weeks ago. Overall, we were very pleased. The food and service were excellent although the menu is a little limited (small inn so understandable). Menus posted online if you’re interested. She stayed in the water tower room and it was beautiful.
Stayed at the charming McCallum House restaurant and bar in the heart of Mendocino and it truly felt like stepping into a dreamy Victorian coastal escape. The property is surrounded by beautiful gardens, cozy cottages, and peaceful ocean air that instantly slows life down.
We had the best stay at ocean song #20. The house was better than imagined, big 2 bed room, lots of room for us to be together or spread out, plenty of kitchen pots pans etc for cooking, so many keurig pods (yay!
Spent two nights here for my 32nd birthday and couldn’t have been happier with it. The rooms have that old school cozy feeling to them, which we love and appreciate! The location was centrally located and walking distance to everything we wanted to do.
Getting married at MacCallum House Inn
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
