From the reviews
A lovely high-end resort tucked away in Maine, about a 2 to 2.5 hour drive from Boston. We went there for a friend's son's wedding and wished we could have stayed there longer. There are several differently sized cottages spread across the property and my husband and I occupied a well-appointed, one bedroom one.
Our flower farm, Eastern River Farm, recently worked as part of a terrific vendor team on a June 2023 wedding at Migis Lodge. Our team was blown away at the incredible accommodations, friendly, creative and flexible staff, and amenities at Migis Lodge!!
A True Maine Gem amongst Tall Pines on Picturesque Sebago Lake. Great Floral Arrangements, Great Food. Antique Wooden Chris- Craft Boat Excursions. ( Fishing Boats and Poles available). Very friendly and pleasant Staff. Ancient Stone Fireplaces built and maintained by Local Artisan Stone Masons.
My wife and I "discovered" Migis Lodge last year and were able to spend two nights on the property in mid-October. We loved everything about this wonderful place - so much so that we plan to return in early-September (just a few weeks from now)!
Getting married at Migis Lodge at Sebago Lake
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
