We stayed here with our children and grandchildren, 11of us in all. The rooms were clean, the staff friendly and helpful. The private patio area off each suite gave us "room to expand" for eating, playing games, etc. The kids loved the large indoor and outdoor swimming pools and the indoor play area.
My sister and I stayed in a 2 bed 2 bath suite and it was the perfect stay. I cannot recommend this place enough. I read reviews prior to booking that stated it’s a bit outdated but honestly we didn’t come to stay in a modern room with “big city” vibes.
This property is an excellent choice for families. We enjoyed the playroom and swimming pool. Rooms were clean and spacious. Service was very good. Staff very helpful and kind. I will return.
Getting married at Newport Resort
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
