We had our wedding reception at the Oak Harbor Yacht Club and it was fantastic! What a great spot next to the water with an incredible sunset! The staff was helpful and accommodated all of our desires! I would highly recommend the OHYC to anyone else planning their wedding activities
Attended a wedding here over the weekend and found it to be a wonderful venue. Cozy for a small to medium crowd, definitely wouldn't work for a larger number. Set in a lovely location, convenient to Oak Harbor.
A very snazzy venue that hosted my sister's wedding ceremony and reception. Such a beautiful view onto the water! The only snag was the lack of working WiFi, but luckily a few of the more tech-savvy guests threw out hot spots and we were good to go.
Oak, Harbor, Yacht, Club, what a great place to hang out with your boating, friends, meeting, new friends, and socializing. Yacht club is not just about sailing. There are several on the water groups, including power, boating, and kayaking.
Getting married at Oak Harbor Yacht Club
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
