My husband and I come to Key West Quite often and Ocean Key Resort is by far our favorite place to stay! From the moment we arrived, the staff made us feel welcome with their genuine friendliness and outstanding service. The rooms are beautiful, spacious, and impeccably maintained.
I’d give the Resort an unrounded rating of 4.75 out of 5. It is overall, awesome. The location is perfect! Near the Old Town Trolley service and in the sargassum-free northwest corner of Key West. O Duvall St a plus! The rooms are amazing. Especially love the interactive bathroom mirror. I gotta get one of those!
I stayed here for a few days and the location is absolutely unbeatable if you want to be right in the middle of everything. Waking up to that view of the water made the whole trip worth it, and the staff were generally very helpful whenever I needed anything.
There are SO, so many things I could say about how wonderful Ocean Key is - but what absolutely tops everything is the beds. Omg. Comfier than my bed at home. A better night’s SLEEP than I get at home. Very quiet, no noisy neighbors. Room A/C gets super cold. I’m obsessed.
Getting married at Ocean Key Resort & Spa
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
