From the moment we arrived, our experience at Opal Key Resort was absolutely exceptional. The staff truly made our stay unforgettable—they were not only warm and welcoming, but consistently attentive, checking in with us throughout the day to make sure we had everything we needed.
The view over the water was fantastic. We lucked out and were not blocked by a cruise ship ! Absolutely gorgeous ! The restaurant food was delicious. The pool and hot tub were nice clean and relaxing. The staff were more than accommodating and friendly. The location was perfect.
Great resort. Clean, friendly and accommodating staff. We onl;y stayed one night. The location is perfect, near Mallory Square and Duval. The view from our ocean front room was perfect! Easy to walk to most locations. Lost of shops right on property to shop and wander around. Near Fort Zachary, ~10 minute walk.
Amazing experience!!! It's a beautiful BEAUTIFUL resort in a perfect location. We had front row seats to the most spectacular sunset on earth from our balcony. The grounds/pool/restaurant/bars are gorgeous. The staff are all wonderful and a special shout out to Trexie G...kind, professional, genuine.
Getting married at Opal Key Resort & Marina
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
