From the reviews

Dream come true Northern Michigan Wedding Venue! We had the special opportunity to hold our Ghanaian traditional ceremony at Mission Table on a Saturday afternoon and hold our traditional US wedding ceremony at The Peninsula Room on a Sunday afternoon/evening.

Looking back on everything that went into planning a wedding, I can confidently say that choosing The Peninsula Room as our venue was the single best first choice we could have made. It was the bedrock of our wedding day in more ways than one.

★★★★★ — Morgen, Oct 2024

We recently got married here in October on a Sunday, it was a fantastic experience! The day was windy, dry, and raining leaves. The venue was beautiful, with warm touches in each corner. The staff was accommodating and kind.

★★★★★ — Daniel, Nov 2024

We just had our wedding here on a Friday! It was ABSOLUTELY stunning! There is nothing like it. The character of the venue is something you can’t find anywhere else. A great for venue for photos as well. They have beach access for gorgeous sunsets and water views. The staff was wondering. So easy to work with.

Getting married at Peninsula Room

Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
