Impeccable landscaping and attention to detail all around the grounds, well appointed rooms and friendly staff made this the most relaxed stay I've ever had anywhere.
From the moment we arrived everything was wonderful. The grounds are beautiful, very zen feel with a nice pool and hot tub tucked away on the property and very private and a beautiful large koi pond with food to feed them!
This is the second year we stayed at this hotel. The grounds are so well kept up and make you feel like you’re in a more remote area than you are. The rooms/cottages were immaculate and very spacious. The cottages are a great option with the 2 beds and 2 baths, plus a full kitchen and lots of outdoor space.
We really enjoyed our stay here. The staff were welcoming, the rooms were impeccably clean (with daily service), and the grounds were beautiful. My family enjoyed the heated pool, local sightseeing, and feeding the fish.
Getting married at Pleasant Bay Village Resort
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
