Wychmere is hands down a dream venue and crew to work with. When we first toured Wychmere as a potential venue, we were greeted with champagne and treated like royalty the moment we walked through the door. Being the indecisive couple we tend to be, we had seen numerous venues, and this by far was the best.
I only have phenomenal things to say about Wychmere Beach Club. Five stars is truly not enough! We initially booked our wedding for 2021 in the Harbor Room (stunning), but as 2020 came to a close, it was clear we needed to reschedule.
When it came to picking a venue on the cape, nothing truly compares to Wychmere Beach Club. It is STUNNING and we fell in love the moment we toured the venue. We were so impressed with how on top of everything the staff is at Wychmere. Marissa was a pleasure to work with during our initial booking.
Our wedding day could not have been more perfect thanks to Wychmere. The planning was a lot, but Kristin did everything she could to help make everything as smooth as possible during the planning process.
Getting married at Wychmere Beach Club
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
