From the reviews
My daughter's wedding ceremony at St Paul's Church in Port Gamble was this past weekend! The bride only had about 60 day's notice to plan the wedding (delays due to Covid and the groom's military service) and we were scrambling to find an available venue.
Not enough space to write everything we want to about Port Gamble and their staff. We've come to love them! The venues are absolutely fairytale worthy. It was what we had always dreamed about for our wedding. All the staff worked so hard to make our day wonderful.
We recently got married here a couple of weeks ago and will forever recommend this venue. Not only are the views absolutely stunning, but the staff is amazing, professional, and on top of everything, and you get so many different accommodations for what you pay for.
We got married at St Paul’s Church, and it is an absolutely gorgeous and well maintained venue, and the staff was FANTASTIC the entire way through. From making sure everything was set up to checking in consistently while leading up to the big day, this venue was perfect.
Getting married at Port Gamble Wedding & Events
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
