From the reviews
We had our wedding here last weekend and I cannot say enough great things about Porta! The food is wonderful. The service is impeccable and the atmosphere is perfect. Karina and her team took our ideas and visions and created something even more perfect and beautiful than my wife and I could have imagined.
We recently had our wedding at Porta, and couldn't be more happy we did so! The Abbott Room is an amazing event space for a smaller wedding with unique lighting, fixtures, and architecture that create a romantic, quirky, and broody space. The food is unparalleled and the staff are equally amazing.
We got married a few months ago at Porta Asbury Park and it was incredible. The Abbot room is so unique and looks amazing in photographs. We held both our ceremony and reception there. The ceremony was beautiful and then there was a quick, seamless transition into a party.
My wife and I had our mini wedding reception at Porta Asbury and were BLOWN away by the service we received from Karina and her team. We eloped on the beach and just needed a place to have a first dance , cake cutting and dinner for just us and our photographers.
Getting married at Porta Asbury Park
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
