“There was a free-to-the-public Juneteenth celebration on June 16th being held there and it was beautiful.”
From the reviews
A friend's wedding ceremony and reception were held at the pavilion. It was the perfect backup for the ceremony due to rainy weather. We were all able to crowd inside the outdoor, covered area. For the reception, the inside can only hold 75 or so, but there was plenty of additonal outdoor seating and standing areas.
There are two locations that you can rent out by the hour $$. I say the one 📸 pictured is the nicer of the two, but that could depend on what it is you're looking for, and your needs. There was a free-to-the-public Juneteenth celebration on June 16th being held there and it was beautiful.
Beautiful area! Enjoyed watching the surfers. Perfect place to watch the sunset or have a picnic/charcuterie. I saw lots of people reading, painting and taking pictures. There are geese so just be cautious of where you step.
Indoor and outdoor shaded seating. You can reserve it to use the indoor kitchen which has a refrigerator. Very large outdoor grilling area for you and 200 of your best friends. Go here for a family party and view the amazing sunsets.
Getting married at Presque Isle Pavilion
Presque Isle Pavilion is a public beach or park, so a ceremony here almost always needs a permit from the managing city, county, or state parks office — and the rules matter: many public beaches cap your guest count, set ceremony windows, and restrict what you can set up (some ban chairs, arches, and amplified sound entirely). There's no on-site coordinator, catering, or weather backup, so you'll bring your own vendors and a rain plan. The payoff is a stunning setting at a fraction of a private venue's cost. Start with our public-beach permit guide, then call the local office to confirm this season's rules.
