This is what I characterize as a comeback place. We had an Ocean view room and it was lovely. The beds were extremely comfortable and soft. The shower pressure was very good. The room smells very good. There's a fireplace for heat and there's a fan to cool. They have a K-Cup machine that is nice and clean.

The setting is breathtaking—a portal to Big Sur with sweeping ocean views, it’s the perfect backdrop for a special occasion. What made it even more memorable was the staff.
This place is magical. It's located on a magnificent spot high up above the Pacific Ocean. The grounds are beautiful and we love wandering around them. The hike down to the water is challenging but worth it. In Spring, there is a fabulous waterfall!
Our second time staying here and it once again was wonderful! Rooms are clean with an unbeatable view. We definitely recommend getting the second floor ocean view room. Absolutely breathtaking. We loved sleeping with the balcony door open, listening to the waves. We will never stay anywhere else if we are in the area.
Getting married at Ragged Point Inn & Resort
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
