Spectacular stay here in the Bayside Waterfront section, specifically room 1306 where I took this photo on a gorgeous April evening. We look out over the water and enjoyed sightings of seal & otter along with occasional passing boats, and eagles. Nice spacious room with big comfy bed.
I was really impressed at the view amd quality of the rooms! It is a grwat value, amd every room seems to have exceptional views and most important it was clean! Sure some properties still are being updated but they have clean comfy beds, so who cares!
We stayed in the "roundhouse" built in 1914...what a view!! And what a privilege to stay in such a unique structure!! Whale watching tour within walking distance. The awesome views from Mount Constitution are only a 20 minute scenic drive away!
We had a lovely room with a comfortable bed, mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. Great location near East Sound with plenty of dining options. The only down side were the thin walls and low water pressure in the shower.
Getting married at Rosario Resort
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
