We had our wedding in April 2024. My husband and I were a bit hesitant to have our wedding in Maui due to the fires as we didn't know if it was the right thing to do. After careful consideration, our hearts were still set.
My husband and I got married here in June 2023 and worked with Amy for our wedding ceremony and reception. From start to finish Amy was fantastic to work with, super knowledgable (has been doing this for 10+ years), and extremely attentive to our needs.
Getting married at the Royal Lahaina was one of the best decisions I’ve ever made! The property is beautiful with AMAZING views. Amy the event coordinator was extremely helpful and made sure the whole night went smoothly. She had wonderful suggestions for vendors to choose from for our big day.
We recently had our wedding at Royal Lahaina, and I can’t say enough about how amazing the experience was! Amy and her team made the entire process an absolute breeze, even though we were planning from far away. Every detail was executed flawlessly, from the beautiful florals to the delicious food.
Getting married at Royal Weddings Lahaina
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
