We are deeply grateful to the guests and staff at the Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa for saving my husband’s life. We chose this beautiful resort for the first leg of our honeymoon and were having a wonderful time enjoying the scenery near Black Rock Beach and the kindness of everyone around us.
Had an amazing stay at Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa. The location is hard to beat! It sits right on Kaʻanapali Beach with stunning ocean views and easy access to everything. The property is beautiful and well-maintained, and the atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between relaxing and family-friendly.
Service was really good. The restaurants are not that great but the rooms are big and spacious. The ones with ocean view are really good. You can see the ocean from the bed itself! Shaved ice in the facility is good but it is ops. Only until 3 pm everyday.
Getting married at Sheraton Maui Resort & Spa
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
