Checking in was quick and easy. Cute little office with movies and books and plenty of other things. Very friendly owner. Entering suite #9 omg it’s so cute my first thoughts. Little kitchen, stocked with basic cookware. The bedroom has two queen beds with a bathroom. The comfort of the beds are not bad I slept decent.
This was the 3rd year we have stayed here with our huge family and we are so happy we found this little gem. Cute cabins that open onto the beach, kids playset, games for everyone, private from other resorts, and best of all the owners remembered how much our group liked playing cornhole, they got us our very own…
We really enjoyed this easy going place. Room was basic but clean and reasonably up to date. A little small for 4, but for 2 nights was just what we needed. Beds comfortable. AC worked well. Nice beach. Kids loved the shuffleboard. We hope to go back.
This resort deserves 5 stars. The owners are extremely nice. Rooms are spotless. Super clean, everything was working, and there were absolutely no bugs/insects inside the cabin. I have to admit they do have the best prices around.
Getting married at Sandcastle Beach Resort LLC
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
