My husband and I enjoyed yet another wonderful vacation at Sands Harbor!! We are repeat guests and each and every time we return we can appreciate & enjoy the numerous renovations and upgrades that the staff & management have been working diligently to bring to completion.
The staff at Sands Harbor is very helpful, courteous and friendly. The AGM is just incredible! He is always pleasant and is willing to help his visitors with any questions they may have. The food at the bar/restaurant Lola’s is always good. The pool and the area around the pool is immaculate and well kept.
What a lovely hotel! The staff were very friendly and professional. Some extra charges. The pool closed early and some rooms are dated, but if you pay a little more, you'll get a nice room with a beautiful canal view and can watch the yachts go by all day.
Good location and well maintained property. The highlight of my stay was the exceptional service I received upon arrival by Raymond Ortiz. Raymond was able to check me in early for our staycation. He was incredibly helpful, professional, and really set the tone for our visit. Kudos to Raymond and his entire staff.
Getting married at Sands Harbor Resort & Marina
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
