If you're looking for a Charming and Classy hidden Venue, I found the place for you! Held my mom's 80th birthday bash at the Setauket Neighborhood House. Amazing Ballroom with quintessential New England charm.
This is a truly wonderful venue for hosting an event, both because of its beautiful space and gorgeous setting, and because Maria is so easy and helpful to work with. I recently held a celebration of life for my mom there, and it was absolutely perfect.
I had my bridal shower here on Saturday! I truly am so thankful to have had my shower at the Setauket Neighborhood House! I would most certainly host events here in the future. The location is perfect with a beautiful view of the pond. There was so much space for everyone.
Amazing venue!!! We just hosted our son’s 1st birthday here and we couldn’t be happier! The ballroom is stunning, fit all our guests and a soft play area for the kids! Everyone loved the house and said nothing but amazing things. Maria was incredible and so accommodating whenever we needed her.
Getting married at Setauket Neighborhood House

First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
