From the reviews
The location of this resort is fantastic, right on the water with beautiful views that make it easy to relax the moment you arrive. The pool area is well-maintained and provides a great spot to lounge, and having direct access to the beach is a huge plus.
Don't let the bad reviews scare you off because I truly have no idea what those people are talking about, this hotel was incredible. The staff was so friendly and we were able to do so much relaxing right there because of the gorgeous views, rooms, and everything they had onsite.
Hotel is a little dated. We were also disappointed with the ocean front room which was more of a sliver view of the water. The patio is so small that the chairs have to face away from the water. I would consider this a partial ocean view. The staff there were incredibly nice and helpful
Getting married at Sheraton Kauai Coconut Beach Resort
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
