From the reviews
My family and I stayed here for 5 nights in early April. We had a 1 bedroom place and the kids (11 & 8) slept on the pullout couch. After being in a hotel on Maui for a week, it was great to have more room to spread out, plus a full kitchen and washer & dryer.
Amazing place! There are a bunch of different condos to choose from. Each are part of the resort benefits. I am more specifically writing about the resort and not the condo becuase we didnt have such a good experience with that. There are lizards everywhere, huge pool, along with three spas.
It was a good experience, eventoughthe room that we were staying needs a little bit of maintenance. Having the equiped kitchen and laundry makes a difference when you are traveling with kids. It's location is great, across the street is Safeway, Starbucks, ABC Store (and other stores).
We loved our stay here!!!! Location is great! Right in between the North Shore and Poipu. Great shopping, lots of restaurants. Beach is great, it is very reefy so I recommend water shoes if you love love being in the ocean. Loved having a washer and dryer. The staff was so nice.
Getting married at Waipouli Beach Resort
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
