From the reviews
We stayed 4 days in the 1 bedroom villa, and had a great stay. For the cost, it's a 5 star review for me. You're not paying for a 5 star resort, and though the rooms and some of the grounds could use updates, the location and overall experience was just what we were looking for.
Booked through Club Wyndham, resort is a Shell Vacation Club. No elevators. Room was on the second floor and you can hear the room above you walking around/opening and closing doors/etc. This bothered me much more than the roosters in the morning.
I enjoyed our stay at this resort. It is an ideal location. Driving either to the North shore or the South shore was about the same distance. The 1 bedroom suite was spacious and comfortable with a full kitchen. The pool and grounds were gorgeous. It is an older build that has been well cared for, however not perfect.
Loved our stay here in May 2026. The location is beautiful as pictured. Tons of flowers throughout the resort. It was also very convenient! The airport is ~6 miles away. The Coconut Marketplace is also right next door. Highly recommended!
Getting married at Kauai Coast Resort at the Beachboy
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
