From the reviews
Location was great as it’s near the water. Im sure if it wasn’t raining the view would have been beautiful. Not sure if it was me but the floor was very slippers. I had to walk slowly not to slip. Food was okay, it was very tasty yet too salty for me. It didnt really stand to me. It was a normal meal.
Great location for a nice meal or family gathering. Staff was amazing and accommodating. Food was fresh and tasty. Overall 11/10 The views of the Bay are truly photographic
Had an amazing three course meal during restaurant week! It seemed especially busy for a Tuesday night where we had to wait for about 20 minutes past our reservation time to be seated and the food came out rather slowly; however, the service was excellent the whole time. Very friendly, attentive, and intuitive staff.
This place is truly amazingly beautiful. The scenery is breathtaking! We look forward to coming back here. This is truly a gem tucked away on the water to catch a beautiful sunset and a nice meal. I loved the option of “mocktails” and it’s also a kid friendly restaurant. The service was amazing.
Getting married at Skates On The Bay
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
