If you like public works projects, you're going to love this trail. Walking below the McArthur maze, one of the largest interchanges in the country is truly fascinating visually. The ebmud sanitation facility has informative placards explaining the complex process of waste management.

We went here for a Black Coffee concert and had bottle service in the booth. The experience was fantastic! The sound was great and they were checking vaccination, security was excellent too - all of which made for an excellent experience.

The Bridgeyard, is a 24,000-square foot, 1930s-era industrial building that has been beautifully restored. This location was once used as a train shed for the Key System Railway until the railway across the Bay Bridge was abandoned in 1950.

I photographed a wedding here this past summer, absolutely love the space and highly recommend. Very fun spot for a more industrial vibe, beautiful lighting and an open environment. The ties to San Francisco history are just a plus!

Getting married at The Bridge Yard

Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
