From the reviews
We had our wedding there, and we couldn't have been happier. The price of a park building but the beauty of something much more expensive and the location by the lake - you can't beat it. You need to book SUPER far in advance though to get your event here.
South Shore Terrace is a beautiful Milwaukee wedding venue tucked between Bayview and Lake Michigan. Perfectly representing both Wisconsin beauty and Milwaukee vibes, it delivers with incredible trees, a fabulous beachfront, and a fantastic beer garden.
I've been here before and they do have weddings here looks like a great place to do it The building was built in 1934 as a bath house!!! It is fully equipped with an elevator for people with wheelchairs took pictures of all.
Great views for a wedding! The beer garden down below is nice. Only bummer was since the building is a public building anyone could come in and use the bathrooms. With music playing and enjoying the wedding you barley notice others coming in to use the bathroom.
Getting married at South Shore Pavilion
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
