My husband and I got married at the Ivy House back in October — but I decided to (not-so) patiently wait to review them until I was able to showcase just how beautiful the venue really is. If you want the short version, the Ivy House is AMAZING. Worth every penny spent, and has the most fantastic staff.
We got married at The Ivy House on April 16, 2022. We cannot give Ivy House enough praise! Ivy House exceeded our expectations. We plan on attending all of their summer events because we are so bummed our wedding is over. I came across this venue early in my planning stages.
My husband and I just got married here in October and it was the wedding of our dreams! We could not have imagined a more perfect venue for our wedding. From start to finish, Jack, our coordinator, and his team exceeded every expectation and brought our vision to life with such care and attention to detail.
We got married at Ivy House in November 2024 and wish that we could give Ivy House and their team 10 out of 10 stars. We were lucky to work with the amazing Mandi Benjamin. She knows her venue like the back of her hand and every question or need that we had she was right there to assist.
Getting married at The Ivy House
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
