We chose stage neck as our wedding venue and got married here this May! It was an amazing experience! From the staff, location, views, and hospitality, I highly recommend for a wedding or even just a relaxing getaway. Scott from dining was fantastic, he was professional, kind, and attentive throughout our stay.
We have stayed here countless times over the last fifteen years and it is always outstanding! Stage Neck is a great place to unwind and relax for a few days. Everything is enjoyable - the clean, comfortable and nicely decorated rooms, Shearwater restaurant, the beautiful property and location.
Absolutely wonderful stay! Love the Inn's setting (highly recommend oceanfront!), the perfectly appointed rooms, the personal service and overall ambiance. The fireplace in the common area with coffee and tea always available made for a more "homey" type of stay. Do NOT miss this place. . .I will be back soon!
We recently did a road trip up the coast Maine, this hotel was my favorite out of the three you could just sit back and relax, and enjoy the views, or you could go to the beach, go to the pool ,short walk downtown they even had tennis. Staff was amazing, I will definitely come back.
Getting married at Stage Neck Inn
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
