We had the perfect wedding day at Dockside! I loved the venue at first sight, and Heather was so helpful with planning throughout the year. She was a calming presence throughout the busy day, and her team made everything run so smoothly.
Wedding Review Here! When we first began dreaming of our wedding, we knew two things would be key to a successful reception--dancing and food. When we stumbled across the Dockside Restaurant and realized we could book out the entire place, we couldn't believe our luck!
We had our wedding at Dockside in September of 2025 and it was simply amazing! The grounds are stunning and perfect backdrop for any wedding ceremony. The staff made us feel like the center of the universe from the very beginning of the planning process all the way until the end of the night.
We held my parents 50th wedding anniversary at Dockside. Everyone at the restaurant was so accommodating and gracious. The decor and linens were beautiful, and the view cannot be beat.
Getting married at Dockside Restaurant on York Harbor
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
