From the reviews
We cannot say enough wonderful things about our experience with York Harbor Inn. From the planning process through our wedding day, everything exceeded our expectations. A special thank you goes to Emily Bisson, the Inn's Event Sales Manager, who was absolutely instrumental to the success of our wedding.
We love the YHI! We held our wedding reception here 25 years ago and have been back many times to celebrate. Such a warm, charming, romantic spot, with wonderful hospitality and fabulous dining options. Love the location, the different accommodations (we just stayed in the main Inn which is so charming).
The York harbor in was on point in every way! Service friendly and welcoming, rooms clean, beds, pillows and linens top notch! Food was excellent, yet not over priced. The location, across from the park and beach was relaxing, off the beaten path of Long Beach.
We visit every year and love staying with you! The only comment about what could be better are the beds harbor crest. They were not as comfortable as some of your other properties. We brought our dog for the first time so we had to stay on that dog friendly property!
Getting married at York Harbor Inn
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
