My husband and I got married at Starry Night on October 29. It was exactly as I envisioned!! We had travelled to Traverse City for long weekends, so we knew we wanted to show our friends and family how lovely northern Michigan is in the fall.
We got married at Starry Night Barn on 5.28.22 and I can't say enough wonderful things about the owners, staff and venue. I researched every wedding venue, and as a local, I was particular about where I got married and SNB exceeded my expectations and was so much more than I hoped for.
My partner and I got married at Starry Night Barn this July. This venue-and the people who make it tick are are truly incredible. When my wedding ring was lost in the grass just a few minutes before our ceremony-the SNB staff somehow located a metal detector within an hour and we were able to find my ring by the end…
What a beautiful venue. Starry Night has everything you could ever want fora beautiful wedding. My son's wedding last weekend we perfect. The staff at SNB made sure we had everything we needed to ensure a smooth wedding. The farmhouse and cottages were perfect to hosts the bridal party and family.
Getting married at Starry Night Barn & Studios
Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
