From the reviews

If you are planning a smaller wedding like we did (<50 people), Stonehouse simply cannot be beat for an intimate, and elegant wedding venue. Working with OceanCliff/Newport Experience, we rented out every single room for our guests for two days that covered our rehearsal and wedding day.

The house was absolutely beautiful. We stayed in the barn top floor with a view of the pond and ocean. The bar and restaurant were not open a little disappointed as we did not want to leave the grounds at all. There was a sweet little restaurant about 15 min away at the the four corners.

Perfect location for where we were going. Stone House inn very pretty and the rooms are spacious, clean and very nice. We only stayed for one night but everything was great. Staff was very nice and the place is quiet and has a very very pretty view.

An absolute must. The rooms, the views, the food, the staff, all incredible. I couldn’t believe how fantastic the rooms were. We stayed 4 days and 3 nights for a work retreat. Everything was handled from the rooms, meals, workspaces and even team building events and dinner in Newport. A really great events space.

Getting married at Stone House Inn

Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
