I love staying here when I visit. I love the sandwich spot on the property. I love the pool and hot tub and I LOVE that it’s beachfront property. I’ve never had any issues with any of the rooms I have ever stayed in. The property grounds are well maintained.

They have great beaches. Located in Kehei. The property is dated , however clean. The rooms are on the smaller side to my taste. I do like the size of the resort and casual atmosphere. T h are is a sandwich/bar place on the premises however must drive to any restuarants.

Beautifully maintained resort at the water's edge. Rooms are nicely decorated, squeaky clean, comfortable, quiet. Has everything you need for an extended stay. But the view is what makes this place the best! We stayed in an oceanfront one bedroom suite on the penthouse level (6th floor).

Love it here on Sugar Beach! Great condos and easy access to Maui adventures. We stayed at 121 with beachfront views, and it was so great. Walking the beach and relaxing while taking trips whale watching and to Lana'i. Had an unfortunate Kona storm the last few days (we leave tomorrow), but it was manageable.

Getting married at Sugar Beach Resort

Two things make the tour worth the drive. First, see the ceremony spot at the exact time of day you'd say your vows — a west-facing beach glows at sunset but bakes at noon, and you'll want to feel the wind, watch where the sun sits, and walk the path your guests take across the sand. Second, bring your real questions: the weather backup (where does the ceremony move if it rains or the wind kicks up?), who pulls the beach permit, the sound-ordinance curfew, the catering and bar policy, and exactly what's included — chairs, setup, and teardown on sand are where quotes quietly diverge. Peak beach dates book 12–18 months out, so if the tour feels right, ask what's open in your season before you leave.
